Think Fast

Close your eyes, spin around, and open your eyes. What's the first thing you see? Now think about how God is involved with it.

Sensing God

You can train your senses to become more sensitive to God. Try this simple exercise. Print it out; then, find a comfortable chair in a quiet space. You're ready for action!
1. Set a timer or alarm to go off in five minutes. Sit in a comfortable position.
2. Close your eyes and listen. You will be aware of quieter and quieter sounds. Soon you will hear the sound of your own breath. Listen to it until you can sense your breath moving in and out of your body. Feel your head resting on your spine. Feel your back, legs, and arms all relaxed.

When the timer rings, open your eyes. What colors and shapes stand out? What details seem new to you?

Like the air you breathe, the colors and shapes you see, and the details you notice, God is often overlooked, but always present.
